Richard Ross is not your ordinary comedy juggler.

Using a combination of awe inspiring feats and phenomenal comic expertise, he does things with pogo sticks, ping pong balls, balance boards, forks, mousetraps, knives, and fire torches that will leave you breathless, laughing and wanting more. Rich is so good that The Smothers Brothers said that "Mom would have liked him best".

Cutting his teeth on the San Francisco street performing scene, Richard quickly moved on to bigger things. He's performed at comedy clubs, colleges, Disneyland and Folsom State Prison. He's opened for superstars like John "Cougar" Mellencamp, Charlie Daniels and Weird Al. He has performed for corporate giants like Microsoft, Dryer's Ice Cream and the National Hockey League. Rich also appeared on the nationally syndicated Children's Miracle Network Telethon, Good Morning America and is featured in Primus' Mr. Krinkle video on MTV.

Richard Ross and Scott Meltzer formed Monkey Wrench - the comedy explosion! in 1991. Together they have performed all over the country at dozens of colleges and comedy clubs and performed literally thousands of shows together. Now as part of Comedy Industries, Richard is one of the most energetic performers you will ever see.

Richard performs/directs/teaches classes acting and improvisation with Bay Area TheatreSports in San Francisco. He has also performed improv with Fratelli Bailing and True Fiction Magazine. He is also a founding member of Start Trekkin' - an improvised parody of the original Star Trek universe. In his spare time he blows glass. No, really, he does. Richard can write and perform a custom script to fit any event from Trade Show presentations and Custom tailored Sales meetings to private parties and after dinner shows.

Corporate Presenting

Richard has presented product information at too many trade shows to count. He has also presented internal company messages at sales meetings, breakout sessions and product launchings.

Teaching

Everything that Richard has excelled at he has eventually taught: Juggling, Comedy, Physical Comedy, Glass Blowing, Improvisation, Desk Top Publishing, Reptile Husbandry, Public Presentation, and Team Building.

Richard is a member of Bay Area TheatreSports where he teaches classes, performs, directs, and produces improvisational theater. He is also active in other improv groups like The Traveler's, and Start Trekkin' - an improvised parody of the original Star Trek Universe.

Richard can host any event in a friendly, easygoing, open manner. He is highly flexible and will keep the show going and entertaining.
